A clone is a genetic copy not a spiritual one.
Despite various poor science fiction approaches to the matter, memory is not included in your D.N.A (see Alien 4 for ridiculous SF precedence).
A clone of yourself would have none of your memories, none of your life experience and would not be as old as you.
Even if growth acceleration were used (aka Star Wars ep2) to make your clone physicaly appear as old as you it would not have your life experience.
It would not have your scars, it would not have you unique immune system, it would not have a chemically identical liver, spleen or kidneys.
A clone of you would not actually be you.

A clone of yourself would have to be man made, however natural clones already exist in everyday life in the form of identical twins which are embryos that split naturally early on in a pregnancy to form two genetically identical people.

The evidence is strong that major personality traits are met within genetic structure. Identical twins that are seperated at birth and reunited in later adult life have been found to have remarkably similar tastes and lifestyles.
This evidence has been used to to counter the debate of 'nature versus nurture' used by people to blame parents for their childrens behaviour.
The same studies have shown that there are marked differences in identical twins approach to certain things in life though which puts emphasis on the argument that identical twins whilst genetically the same person are individuals, socially, morally and (more importantly) spiritualy.

A clone of yourself therefore, even if organised after you have made certain important life decisions and promises is not bound by your lifestyle or morals because they are an individual.
Genetically identical sure but that is simply biochemistry. They are seperate from you and that means that they are not you.
So if your clone decides to go humping anyone he chooses, not only can that not be counted as infidelity to your wife, it can also be counted as none of your business.

To my mind the greatest moral dilemma a man could have after having a fresh new clone of himself made is that of his wifes infidelity.
After all if your wife discovers someone who looks like you, acts a bit like you but is naive, open minded, not yet bored of her incessant nagging, has never heard of football and has not had chance to let himself go a bit pudgy round the middle, why in hell would she stick around your old ass!!!?

yea will if the court shows you (clone) was in bed with another women you really up the creek i think they can't tell if you was there or not. all the proof is in the DNA

as for identical twins they are in some ways not the same one would be right handed and other will be left handed the finger print on one right hand will be on the left hand of the other twins. as a clone eveything will matchup the sperm DNA and the looks all will be there too. will i can see if you had a clone say your 20yrs old time, the Clone have to wait till it get that age when it get to 20yrs old you be in your 40's. you would have age some by then and Image would not matchup.

but if they speed up the growth of the clone to match your time line it would be trouble there. i all so stated the year is 2500.

all so it would not matter any if your a nice guy or a jerk in court system all they need is proof you get the raw end of the deal.

E1 was one of the toughest monarchs in our history. She certainley was not sweet a demure like Diana (although if you ask me a lot of that was put on)
