Tsunami Aid

Tsunami Aid
Calabasas, CA — 12/29/2004 –

Sunday’s 9.0 earthquake, the strongest on record in the world for the last forty years, struck the west coast of northern Sumatra, Indonesia in the morning, causing a tsunami that swept thousands to their deaths and destroyed coastlines thousands of miles away. The majority of the destruction centered in Sri Lanka, India, the Maldives, Indonesia, and Thailand, and tsunamis also caused massive damage along the east coast of Africa, including the Cocos Island and Somalia.

As we all know, the death toll has been catastrophic. In addition to the death toll, the tsunami has contaminated the majority of the clean drinking water in these areas, meaning that the death toll could well increase dramatically with the onset of diseases such as dysentery and cholera.

We at NovaLogic wish to extend our deepest sympathies to all those affected, and invite visitors to www.novaworld.com and www.novalogic.com to offer any support they can.

If you are looking for information on a U.S. citizen feared missing, contact the U.S. State Department at 888-407-4747, or, from overseas, at 317-472-2328.

The following are accepting donations for aid they or affiliates will provide to those affected by the deadly tsunami in Asia.

Sad

At my local shopping mall over £5000 has been raised today from all of us shopping there, it's not much when you consider the size of this disaster but if every shopping mall in the U.K. follows suit then a huge amount can be raised!

Why not have all the unclaimed National Lottery prize funds dedicated too?

Regards

im going to donate around £40 next week, got £30 at min but need £10..

if u think about it most of us spent what £30? $40? For Joint ops and BHD.. to have fun playing well, maybe we can all donate the price of the game, since the areas in both the games we play are effected by this....

Edit -

http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0...274364,00.html

Every hour roughly the UK is donating 1 million pounds.. works out at £15,000 which is amazing
