i will garauntee you that none of the servers that are available at ev1 are using a measely T1 connection. In terms of serving T1 is actually slow and i won't even consider going with a host who has that kinda connection. If the host doesn't have at least an OC-3 connection they don't get consideration. Now I don't know what Ev1 uses but i'll bet it's along that line of OC-3 or OC-12.

Don't get me wrong, T1's are nice. 1.5Mb up/down, but it's simply not enough bandwidth to host a busy site let alone multiple.

Athlon, if you are serious about wanting to host, what you might consider doing is getting a reseller package through a company such as Ev1. Yeah it's "$99/month" or more but you get 10 customers @ 10/month and hey you make a buck. The thing you have to look out for is the scam artists in the business who oversell everything and then just take off leaving you high and dry. IF you do something like this, go with a known company such as Ev1, or GNAX, or etc etc ....
