Hi, I think I should put this down here. This is a warning that <a href=http://www.dfmax.com>DFMax.com</a> and <a href=http://www.xcrhq.com>Tom Jones</a> have said about this product:

"Well what can we say. This program is being reported all over on DF Websites. We have some questions. Are these sites blindly posting details on this because they think its just more news or have they actually checked into this. This I am afraid is definetly not recommended by DFMax. As far as we are concerned we would not trust it at all and shall not post the url to the website. We have downloaded this program to check it out and flatly refuse to go any further with it and would strongly advise our visitors to do the same. Why ???

(1) You cannot even use the shareware version without filling in your e,mail address. Why ??? Are we going to get spammed with porn. Why do you want it ???

(2) The author of this program wishes $5 dollars to register for the full version of the program. Why ??? Is $5 going to become $5000. Is your payment method secure ???( This website costs money and so do most of the others but we dedicate time for the love of the game, nothing else. )

(3) This is a very dangerous program. It does nothing that ip4df2, ip4LW, df2/3 favorites or Delta Spy do not already do and they are free. It claims it will find different servers for you. Any server run in DF1, DF2 or LW will automatically appear in Novaworld. You cannot hide them. However it appears the program will tell the world the servers ip address. The whole idea of Novaworld is to protect the IP address of servers to all bar serious hackers. Not to tell it to all and sundry. Yes ip4df2 etc can work with ip address,s but users only give them out to people they trust.

The author of this program may be genuine but we are sorry my friend we do not like the way you do business. By all means write a program for gamers and post your name and website adverts all over it. Guys who enhance our game are entitled to the credit and we applaud them for it. However to ask people for e,mail address's and money to use your program smacks of something being not quite right in our book. You may be genuine and if you are here is some advice. Do not ask for money. Do not ask for e,mail address's. Remove the IP address feature, it is of no use to genuine gamers but hackers will have a field day. When you do this we will gladly recommend your program."

ok,first of all,i'm very glad to talk about DF Server
Searcher.Second,here is my opinion.
1)About email.As you know,email address is a identifier in the
world.Users of the software can be differentiated by emails,like
names.Lots of softwares will require your name,your email,your post address etc. if you use them.You did,didn't you?Why you doubt me only?Did you get spammed from me?I just want tell users the news about the software or my website!If you don't like tell me your true email,you can just fill a fake email address,the software never sent you a confirm email,right?How you can post message in this forum?I guess you forgot that you fill your email in the registration form of this forum!

2)I want $5 dollars just I want.If you dislike it,don't register,that's it,like other shareware.I hope $5 going to become $5000,every author of shareware want it become true.Payment method is not my problem.It's of qwerks.com,You can visit qwerks.com,and ask your question.

3)I know you never read the explain about functions of DF Server
Searcher 2.0 carefully.I didn't say that 2.0 version can show game server's IP!It can't show at all.As you said,"Any server run in DF1,DF2 or LW will automatically appear in Novaworld. You cannot hide them",yes,I agree.So,who tell us server's information?Not the searcher,it's novaworld.IP4LW,df2/3,depands on IP of game server.If you want use it,you must get some IP first.so lots of IP of game servers showed in the internet.It's IP4LW's fault? Serious hackers get server's IP only depand on my software?It's a joke at all.Some simple tools can do it if you want.And if you really want hide IP of your server,the only way is------don't connect to internet.What's the meaning of "dangerous"?You said game server would be hacked,and if someone did like you had said,people will say :"You are a dangerous man."

The software wants help you play DF easily,happily,it's the whole
reason that it exists and people use it.Everyone knows that windows system has many BUG which would aggrieve us,why lots of people use win95,win98,win2000,winxp,not use unix,linux?

I have been quietly ignoring your posts but I now see that you would like to tell people what DF2/3 Favorites can and cannot do. If you did it correctly then I would not comment.

DF2/3 Favorites does not depend on IP's, either does IP4DF2 or IP4LW for that matter. Both tools discourage the use of IP's. Yes, there are ways to get the IP address with and without them but to make it something that everyone can just go an grab is a bit much. There are instances where knowing the IP is good for determining why a particular server is giving such poor ping times but 999/1000 you don't need it. I certainly would not tout it as a great feature of my tool.

Since we are all freely giving of our time for these tools and the support of them I would appreciate if you would refrain from making negative comments towards these tools that you do not use -- that is not appropriate behaviour. If you wish to do a comparison then go for it -- but at least attempt to be factual. I am pretty sure that the tools that are available and are free compare quite nicely to yours.
