lol, now i got the big head.

where have i been for the last 2 days, lol.

ya know i been playing around with the newman motor, well i showed it to the electronics professor at school, this dude is smart as hell doing multiple calculations in his head.

we played around with the one i built and two 12v batteries that had a total of 24.6v in them, the motor i built has got has a comutator that flips the current at 180* of the revolution and 5000ft of #22 wire, i got a brass shaft to keep from interfering with the fields and aluminum bushings that i made on my lathe.

we played with it and was talking while it was running and doing amp test and voltage draw test.

it was great, lol, it draws around about 1\16 of an amp and draws less than .010 volts, but the back pulse produces 234v 600ma.

i got this run into the batteries in a simple rectification circuit and run thru a cap to keep it from being a dead short, the origional newman motor doesnt have this circuit, i had to design the thing to get the back pulse back into the batteries.

the circuit is the key to rechargeing the batteries and i redid the coils a little so thay would be 1 piece instead of 2 coils hooked together.

well i had a meter on the batteries to keep an eye on the voltage and it was jumping from 25.8v to 35.2v meaning it was puting voltage into the batteries while it was running, within 3hours of it running the voltage was the exact same as when we started.

well yesterday he called me at 6:45, i was like wth, lol, he asked me if he could borrow this thing for a little while, i said ok, still half asleep, and got dressed and met him at the school.

we talked a little more and he told me he was gona put it on display at a science convention, a big one where the biggest schools and top professors would be at, there were guys from alabama power, the oil industry, nither of witch were to happy from what he told me , ITT was there MIT and a few other big colleges.

even VICA people dont hardly get this honor, well i let him take it and he said he would call me when he got back, he took it at around 10:00 and he called me back at around 3:00 that afternoon.

he wouldnt tell me much over the phone or anything but we talked for around 3hours when i got back to the school.

he told me it was a big hit, every1 was looking it over and trying to figure out how it was doing what it was doing, the guys that had their projects that all the cad/cam designed stuff and very elaborate crap, and my wire wraped around a paper tube that shrinkwrap came on and a wooden framework, they found themselves having to get the inspecting peoples attention to get them to look at their projects, lol.

it was kindof hot in the building where this was held at but i had a small metal fanblade that i use to put a load on it, the professor put that on it and was sitting in a chair letting the air blow on him witch really got them because the powerdrain doesnt go up with load.

the top guy from MIT came over and asked what the hell was this thing and the professor said he didnt know and wanted him to figure out how it was working, lmao, he got out his calculator and did calculations and put meters to it and was baffled, it was going aganst everything he ever tought was possable, it produces more power than is put into it and draws hardly any volts or current, if ya ask most people that is totaly impossable.

he said he had a crowd over there b4 the day was out and all the other people who presented their projects were getting frustated.

i remember the batterys were 24.6v to begin with, well he run it for 4 hours at the convention, i took it home and run it for 8 hours and the day i showed it to him was 3 hours a total of 15 hours, mostly with a load on it, after this, the batteries read 24.7v more than what i started with.

ill have to get a pic to ya and let yall look at this thing, lol.

but for my troubles i got a brand new multimeter, a 10watt solar cell 12V, and probably the MIB looking into my life, lmao, and the chance to improve this design.

it isnt exactly like the newman on youtube but a redesign because i had to use what i had and i simplified it a little because im lazy, lol, and the added charge circuit makes it a lot diffrent and the double commutator instead of the single commutator is a lot diffrent.

hell maby ill see about selling it to the oil companys for a few mill, lol.
