lol, now i got the big head.

where have i been for the last 2 days, lol.

ya know i been playing around with the newman motor, well i showed it to the electronics professor at school, this dude is smart as hell doing multiple calculations in his head.

we played around with the one i built and two 12v batteries that had a total of 24.6v in them, the motor i built has got has a comutator that flips the current at 180* of the revolution and 5000ft of #22 wire, i got a brass shaft to keep from interfering with the fields and aluminum bushings that i made on my lathe.

we played with it and was talking while it was running and doing amp test and voltage draw test.

it was great, lol, it draws around about 1\16 of an amp and draws less than .010 volts, but the back pulse produces 234v 600ma.

i got this run into the batteries in a simple rectification circuit and run thru a cap to keep it from being a dead short, the origional newman motor doesnt have this circuit, i had to design the thing to get the back pulse back into the batteries.

the circuit is the key to rechargeing the batteries and i redid the coils a little so thay would be 1 piece instead of 2 coils hooked together.

well i had a meter on the batteries to keep an eye on the voltage and it was jumping from 25.8v to 35.2v meaning it was puting voltage into the batteries while it was running, within 3hours of it running the voltage was the exact same as when we started.

well yesterday he called me at 6:45, i was like wth, lol, he asked me if he could borrow this thing for a little while, i said ok, still half asleep, and got dressed and met him at the school.

we talked a little more and he told me he was gona put it on display at a science convention, a big one where the biggest schools and top professors would be at, there were guys from alabama power, the oil industry, nither of witch were to happy from what he told me , ITT was there MIT and a few other big colleges.

even VICA people dont hardly get this honor, well i let him take it and he said he would call me when he got back, he took it at around 10:00 and he called me back at around 3:00 that afternoon.

he wouldnt tell me much over the phone or anything but we talked for around 3hours when i got back to the school.

he told me it was a big hit, every1 was looking it over and trying to figure out how it was doing what it was doing, the guys that had their projects that all the cad/cam designed stuff and very elaborate crap, and my wire wraped around a paper tube that shrinkwrap came on and a wooden framework, they found themselves having to get the inspecting peoples attention to get them to look at their projects, lol.

it was kindof hot in the building where this was held at but i had a small metal fanblade that i use to put a load on it, the professor put that on it and was sitting in a chair letting the air blow on him witch really got them because the powerdrain doesnt go up with load.

the top guy from MIT came over and asked what the hell was this thing and the professor said he didnt know and wanted him to figure out how it was working, lmao, he got out his calculator and did calculations and put meters to it and was baffled, it was going aganst everything he ever tought was possable, it produces more power than is put into it and draws hardly any volts or current, if ya ask most people that is totaly impossable.

he said he had a crowd over there b4 the day was out and all the other people who presented their projects were getting frustated.

i remember the batterys were 24.6v to begin with, well he run it for 4 hours at the convention, i took it home and run it for 8 hours and the day i showed it to him was 3 hours a total of 15 hours, mostly with a load on it, after this, the batteries read 24.7v more than what i started with.

ill have to get a pic to ya and let yall look at this thing, lol.

but for my troubles i got a brand new multimeter, a 10watt solar cell 12V, and probably the MIB looking into my life, lmao, and the chance to improve this design.

it isnt exactly like the newman on youtube but a redesign because i had to use what i had and i simplified it a little because im lazy, lol, and the added charge circuit makes it a lot diffrent and the double commutator instead of the single commutator is a lot diffrent.

hell maby ill see about selling it to the oil companys for a few mill, lol.

atholon 07-26-2008 05:22 PM

So you're saying that it takes the energy from the battery and makes more energy and puts that back into the battery?

That doesn`t make sense.

.Simon. 07-26-2008 05:33 PM

Wow thats really weird =/

very interesting... i dont understand a word of it :P but keep us up to date with any developments

Chrispy 07-26-2008 06:49 PM

Mauser = famous? :D

Mstenger404 07-26-2008 09:19 PM

hey you do you mind giving us your full name so we can go to school and brag to our science teachers about the fact that we knew you first?

EDIT: better idea, if you get interviewed, make a shoutout for us!
plz!

battery MFG's may like to buy it! so no one can use it, they would lose money if it hit the open market lmfao

good going there something new is aways good news

some reason it look like something from the old days.
paper, wood, wires...ect lol

Mauser 98K 07-26-2008 11:02 PM

lol atholon, i know.

thats what baffled the mit guy.

and yup will, lol, it looks like the 1920s 1910s stuff, it was what i had laying around so thats what i used, i havnt got a dollar in this thing, only a little time.

Chrispy 07-26-2008 11:07 PM

Get a Ph.D so I can call you Dr Mauser... :D

Mauser 98K 07-26-2008 11:24 PM

lol, i dont like PHDs, or those who have them very much, i consider it a wast of time to go to school and do things that have nothing to do with reality just so i can be cosidered smart by the professionals.

most of the people i have met that havem are rude and smug little buggers, we had a princaple at my high school who had PHD and she was a bitch, she run the school into the ground and they closed it 4 years after she got there.

i have also talked to people on websites that havem, they basicly said i didnt know what i was talking about and go away boy your bothering us, it turns out i do know what im talking about, but the ignorant are always skepticle when they are given knowledge.

Ph.D= post hole diggers, lol.

Mstenger404 07-27-2008 12:13 AM

aww thats a selfish shame :(

Hellfighter 07-27-2008 12:30 AM

will sound like them PH.Ds let it go to their heads and go by the book, one should always think outside the book find new ways to do things.

going by the book is most a deadend, one should always jump in a new direction were other not think of before.

taken something to a new level is good, even if it send a person back they learn from it and try something other to get it to work

Mauser 98K 07-27-2008 02:49 PM

lol, yall bout lost me last nite, my frankenstien creation bout ate me.

i had the back pulses run thru a small 18Vac transformers secondary side using it as a stepup, i had to run it thru a 200v capacitor so it wouldnt be a dead short on the windings of the motor, well i fried my digital meter rated for 1,000V and i decided to charge a microwave cap rated at 3oooV, bad idea, lol.

i got it charged , onlt charged it for around 3sec , but i droped it and tried to catch it, wird of advice, never try to catch a capacitor rated for 3,oooV after you just charged it, felt like some1 hit me with a 2x4, arm went tingly muscles on that side of body started jumping and heart skiped a few beats.

so ok, think ill leave that alone for now, lol.

with the transformer on it i can take a small car light bulb and use it as a plasma sphere, so putting 24Vdc in and getting over 2,oooVac out when run thru transformer.

.Simon. 07-27-2008 04:14 PM

Say what now?

Mstenger404 07-27-2008 04:42 PM

he got shocked from his project so hard he almost died from astonishment

Did you get it from the website that you posted? It would be interesting to try it out. Does he post the materials needed?

Mauser 98K 07-27-2008 08:11 PM

i had to search like crazy for bits and pieces of info to build it, but all ya got is a piece of tube with a few thousand feet of wire wraped around it.

a shaft of brass in my case a shotgun cleaning rod.

a commutator that i salvaged from a jigsaw.

brushes made of .005 stainless shim, bushing that i made from aluminum bar, ya can also use the ball berings from the saw if they are good condition.

a little wood for the frame and bushing holders.

2 sliprings i made from a piece of brass rod.

2 magnets from a microwave oven.

the transformer is a 18v type that i have reversed and the pulses run into the outputs, the wires go on the brushes for the sliprings that are hooked to the field windings.

and on a stranger note, it will increae in speed when a load is placed on the transformer, just like a proper generator should.

Chrispy 07-28-2008 01:07 AM

Any news lately on it? Sounds very interesting.

So like atholon had stated, it gets power from a battery, gets more power and chucks it back in the battery?

Stephen 07-28-2008 05:36 PM

sorry mauser i disagree school might not be for everyone but its not bad and a PHD is a great thing to have in life.
