Computer Questions

Hi alll,

Just got some quick and simple computer ubying questions. I need cheap sites where I can find a computer for cheap (don't want to build a comp) .... I think there was one, www.cybersomething.com (forgot exact if you know what it is I could use the info lol) and any other cheap inexpensive comp places. Thx.

wal-mart has HP for like USD-350.00 up 500.00.

there drawback is you get cheap computer system it going tobe cheap hardware in it too. always shop to see what you can get the most out of money for when buying a PC.

top:
1.) GFX-Card 256mb or 512mb is better.
2.) CPU high speed. 2.8mhz or 3.0mhz higher is good.
3.) lots of Ram 1GB or more.
4.) Monitor 17" or bigger
(I hate flate screen monitor LCD type)
5.) Windows Xp Family.
6.) DVD/CD Writer.
(Double lay DVD writer is better AVG USD-85.00)

plus: Printer, scanner, some thing to work on later down the road. most add-in printers to the package deal.

[i use a flate bed scanner i can even scan in large book/bibles if i like too lid comes off the scanner too.]

don't get a Zip-drive waste of money USD-75.00 for the 250mb floppy. you get a CD or a DVD writer, a CD/RW is like USD-.80c 700mb or a single lay DVD/RW is like USD-10.00 and up set of 3 DVD holds 4.7gb. don't think a DVD/RW come in double layer if it did be around 8.4gb.

RW: rewriter Disk you can reuse it many times over without making a whole new CD or DVD up.

Keep in mind you can't make copys of all CD or DVD to burn a backup with or share with others they have a file on the Cd that will block it from making a copy. you may get errors on files can't be read to copy.
