photoshop seems to have dropped or at least changed one of my fave features :/

you know when you ctrl+click a layer, and PS then slects whatever is on that layer? i.e. it puts dotted line around it?

well now it doesn't

i cant find a work around for it yet, so if anyone knows what select is then gimme a shout please.

ctrl+click is still useful but different, now you can select multiple layers in the same way as if you're in a folder in wondows, you can ctrl+click to select multiple files (except in PS it's multiple layers).

ooooo ooooo found it

ctrl_click on the tiny thumbnial will select whatever is on the layer.

ctrl+click anywhere else on the layer selector on the right will do the other stuff.
