MP player Zune 30Gb lockup here the fix
 

Zune 30Gb MP players:
as of Jan 1 2009 let the player go dead! after its dead then let it set for 20min

then recharge it ether plug-in to a computer or plug it into a wall outlet after it been recharge it should be back to normal.

do not trash it, still good

there was a glitch of the Y2K in it left over in the software has to do with the time part of it. leap year thing

when they made it and install the software into there was a miner item.

this has to do with the older 30GB Zune players

nope its the real deal

been on the news last night a lot of Zune 30Gb MP players gone dead between 23hrs and 01:00hr they gone dead world wide event.

MS release a item how to get them running again in working order, and stated its had a glitch Y2K bug in it to do with the leap year bit.

they said to let it go dead totally after Jan 2009 recharge it should be running good again, but it must be totally dead to get it working.

that's hilarious, i find it hard to believe that MS made a mistake like that.

to bad they can't plug-in to a computer and do a update on the software/ drivers with windows update site
