what Media Player you use more of?
 

i like

realplayer but it limited love making video clips it can compress them really small.

QuickTime is sweet and all only seem limited on what you can do with it.

Windows Media player 11 is limited, but you can use the movie maker with it and it free totally.

WinAmps seem like the best of all. i can watch my (Tv-Box) Dish network or VCR on my monitor using a plug-ins with NTSC/Pal

i taken a movie.avi file 250mb

the one i find that (plug-in) make the movie clip really good and smaller like 4.5mb the image file is really small but over all it is sweet realplayer 10


over all what you using more of as a media player, i use WinAmp all day long all the time.

WMP, but I dont watch alot of mopvies on the computer.
Itunes for music.

windows media player 11 for music

Winamp for the shoutcast radio streaming

PowerDVD for watching dvd's

Realplayer for different online streaming (some times realplayer seems to stream better then WMP, other times WMP)

I try not to touch quick time.

by the way did you know about real-player

it will instill adware generator into your system (win32.adw-gen) no lie

i found the url address to block it as will in the explorer security setting, i added the address to block the adware site.

my anti-virus program catch it every time it try to instill. 2x now

all other media player don't instill it at all or any adware crap generator, only found realplayer instill the adware-generator only.

shockwave player
quicktime
realplayer
windows Media player
Java

mainly to work with my screen saver makers

but the top one i use is WinAmps love it to hell mainly you get all type of plugins for it do many things were the rest fails doing things

wmp 11 does everything for media on my computer and i wish it wasnt, wmp really doesnt work that well and it usually wrecks my computer and makes it run extremely sluggish and have the screen annoyingly flash repeatetly even after the program is closed, i hate it so much, i hope i can figure out why wmp is a peice of crap on my computer. or if someone can tell me how to set other video playing software as the default for my internet browsers so I can finaly watch downloaded videos that would be cool too.

will i have to use each of them for their own format

realplayer for real movie format same for quicktime as will.

but i understand winamps can play them all as will.

I only use WMP, if it can't be played in WMP it's not worth watching! :D

For music i use foobar2000 - http://www.foobar2000.org/. Mainly because i got sick of Windows Media Player and all the unnecessary rubbish that comes with it. Foobar is just a simple interface with low memory usage (in comparison) and it plays all my music formats excellently. There's also a wealth of plugins and extensions for it.

For video I usually use WMP Classic, and for Real and quicktime formats I use Real Alternative and Quick Alternative. (I won't let QuickTime/itunes or RealPlayer ever touch my hard drive, heh)
