Looking for a Training Squad
 

:nerd: Hello all,
My chosen name is Time-Bandit, Just call me TB, I have been playing Comanche 4 (known as Widowmaker) for about a year now, I have just been given a copy of Delta Force 2 & I have tried 1-Singleplayer Game, and boy, do I need training! I would also like to configure my Joystick to use in Delta Force 2

Can any of you Muthers out there help me out?! Maybe there is a squad just for Rookies like me (F-Nose?)

If anyone can sort me out, let me know! I'm a nice guy (honest!)

First off, I wouldn't use a joystick in any online games except for flight simulators. This is because it is much easier to move around with a mouse and your keyboard. Secondly, you should get a newer game from Novalogic. Don't get me wrong, DF2 is a great game, lots of cover, grass, and everything. It's just kinda out-dated. :)

Thanx for the advice, I realise DF2 is outdated but I need to start somewhere, and as I was given this I thought i'd start here.
Are there any updates to DF2? or, can I even upgrade it to a more recent game?
Thing is - If I decide to purchase a new game - I will proberbly buy F-22 Lightning (Raptor) as I am really into Flying and Flight Sims (Being Ex Air Force!) :angel:

Well, thats the way to go. Go out and get the games that you like to play. No, there isn't a way to upgrade the game to a recent release. You have to go out and buy the recent games. The games that came after DF2 are (the most recent):

Delta Force: Land Warrior
Delta Force: Task Force Dagger
Delta Force: Black Hawk Down
Delta Force: Black Hawk Down: Team Sabre (Expansion)
Novalogic: Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising
Novalogic: Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising: Esclelation (Expansion)

Yeah I have no clue why u'd play Df2 with a joystick. There was squad I hard of that does training I thing it was DS.

Yep - Ive decided after tryin' it out, that the joystick is useless
for this type of game. But i still need training, is anyone still playin this game?

a few of us still play the game, but it's not worth your time to be taught in it. my suggestions are just watch how some of the peeps play.
