Howdy Sgt. Shrapnel, remember me? used to play in your server all the time...

Any ways, bab.stats uploader doesn't use ports to upload the stats. It uses either FTP or HTTP.
if using http upload:

is your http server settings correct?

Based on what I have seen on your site, and assuming that you have bab.stats uploader version 1.2, for your HTTP Server Settings you need to have this.
note: do not add http:// or any trailing "/"'s

Host server settings:
Host: members.lycos.co.uk/shrapsstats

Path: babstats

what happens is that the uploader will pass the stats to http://members.lycos.co.uk/shrapssta...httpupload.php

An other thing is to make sure that All of the files are there. It seems like the rank images are missing.

hope this helps,

IcIshoot

Just doesn't make sense why bypassing the router allows the stats to upload. It is almost like your router is blocking out going traffic.

Could the router be bad?

I have been using bab.stats for almost an year now and have never opened any ports for it.

Hope you get it resolved

Tried what you suggested Joe and Ic. The router is not blocking outgoing traffic cause i can host through it. Thx for your help but bab still locks up when trying to upload stats. I bypassed my router this morning just to make sure the stats still upload. I wanted to make sure i hadn't corrupted bab. Everything went fine. Stats uploaded. Why this router will not allow me to upload the stats even when i place it in the DMZ is beyond me. Joe, I set up my Virtual Server exactly as you suggested, and it still dont work lol. But thx a bunch for tryin. I also want to add that i installed the latest fimware for my router. No help. Anyone got a stick of dynamite?

too bad this wasn't babstats for bhd as the uploader will display some basic error messages...

On the server setup, you have the server ID the same on both the bab.stats server and the uploader?

Here is what the manufacturer had to say:

1.The computer in the DMZ is not protected by the firewall. The router might be rebooting because of this. It is recommended that you disable the DMZ when the computer is not using the service that requires complete internet access. We can try disabling the WAN pinging. By default, the router is set to Allow ping from WAN side.
If you disable this feature, some applications (such as ICQ) may not work since the router will not be able to be pinged.

-Tried that it didn't work...next....

2.Try to toggle the gaming mode. Gaming Mode allows a form of pass-through for certain Internet games. Gaming Mode basically changes the way the gateway inspects the packets destined for your LAN and should be not used unless necessary.

Tried that it didn't work lol....waiting for their reply now.
