Tournaments Officially Closed
Well, it seems that the tournaments have finally ended. We let them run 1 extra day to see if we could attract some more attention to the JO/E tournaments. Sadly, it didn't happen. Although we have had a whomping response from the BHD teams out there filling up the entire DF:BHD TKOTH gametype. Great response from you all, we appreciate it! We almost filled up the entire DF:BHD TDM gametype with 2 open positions. Thanks to all the BHD teams that signed up.

The LW and TFD games we good. We had some response. Not as many squads signed up as we hoped, but there were some brave squads that decided to.

IMHO, although JO/E has been out for a while it looks like not many people are not playing it becuase of the resource gobbling features of it. I think in order to get more people attracted to a Tourny there should be some kind of motivation factor for them, i.e. a prize. Plus I know being a loner myself, some people don't take part because they are not part of a "squad". There should be some way to bring those people togther in a mercenary style, temp, squad. If you know what I mean.

That's my two cents.

Yeah, I contacted NovaLogic asking if there was anyway they could send T-Shirts for prizes...never got a reply.

If we can get donations, yes we probably could. We don't have the resources for that right now though. I will ask the admins about it though.

How about starting a $1 donation drive? I know people can give ATLEAST $1. People in EU can give 1 Euro.
