Overheating can be a BIG problem. I got a crappy Gateway slim case, and it didn't have sufficient cooling. Restarted all the time. When I used Motherboard Monitor to check my CPU temp, it was 140 F. Now, it simply wont boot, probably cause something melted on the motherboard.

reticle ur status under ur name says dfhq needs to be novahq if u wanna change it lol just lettin u know and Panther ive been thinking about this for a while boot viruses or i think there called boot sector viruses they can reboot your hardrive making it annoying sometimes that may be the case.

does your comp reboot itself why'll your not in the game? or does it lock up at any point?

Yup, could be a power supply problem or your processor is over-heating.
I had this problem on a couple of occasions and each of the above were the main cause.

always go with a powersupply at least 400 watts nowadays....
my new rig has a 650 watt PS

Anything above 350Watt should do the trick.
If you go for a 350Watt - go for a reliable approved PSU.

An semi-decent computer will use no more than 220Watts on average.

Once on our computer, it kept on resetting, but, it was just the reset cable, and it kept
on tripping! If you have any problems with it resetting without any reason, check the reset cable in your computer!
