helicopters and waypoints

how do you get a heilcopter take off when you get in it? is that possible? also, how would you get someone who is in a heilcopter get out when it lands?

what i did was to make a small area trigger around the helo.
so the event would be something like

when - player
reaches area - helo area

redirect group - helo
to waypoint list - helo's waypoints
change group ( helo ) velocity to ( whatever km/h)

to make someone get out at the right point you will have to have an event like

when helo reaches waypoint - (last one)
redirect group - soldier
to waypoint list - soldiers waypoints

1 thing is that u will have to make the ai on the helo 'guard' so they dont go jumping out
