NW & Public Server Connectivity

Okie. I am going to give a last shot at this forum for help.

Problems: Can't Connect to NovaWorld Server & Public Servers.

Steps taken:

1) Install Task Force Dagger version 1.00.05
2) Update manually straight to 1.00.09
3) Run the game

In fact, i can't update my games from the "Update" button in the game. It takes forever to coonect to TFD update server.

Manual Update to 1.00.09 successfully.

But can't connect to the Public Server through the in-game link. The message "The Page cannot be found" keep appearing.

I am not using any router nor am i behind any firewalls.

The furthest i have gone to is to the NovaWorld Lobby.

Then failed to join any games there. "The page cannot be displayed" keep appearing whenever an in-game link is clicked.

Is there any other way to play TFD online???

using nocd?
copied game?
tried asking nova?

I have ADSL connection.

Using no-CD

Games is cloned from a friend of mine

Yes, asked Novalogic...but no reply yet

i'm sure there would ne no problems with the real cd.
that could well be your problem.

It always ended up " Gateway timeout"

How to get to this links is the most important part to resolve for me and many others whio wanted to play TFD online.

has the connection failure got something to do with my IE setting as told??

I have set my privacy and security setting to the lowest but still can't reach the server: http://208.231.90.239/tfdfree2.htm

I want to know how to link to this server site, then everything will be resolved.

BTW, many who played online uses pirated Task Force dagger or ripped from kaaza. Just like those who buy geneurie version.

Frankly speaking, i don't think the integrity of my CD is the troublemaker. Really.

okie, congratualtion to myself and thanks to Destru, maker of TFD Pinger. I managed to play online Task force Dagger.
But, my TFD version is 1.00.09, the latest version. But on the TFD Pinger, all the TFD games were hosted in version 1.00.05. After consulting Destru, i was told that different lobby have different version of TFD.
I wish to play version 1.00.09 instead of version 1.00.05 online.
Can anyone tell me what is the links for TFD version 1.00.09 lobby?
