dang my PSU burnt out
the MFG says its good for another 5mo after that point can't ask them to fix it or replace it.
they gave me a RA number & shipping label for UPS Ground and they going to replace it for free, but it be like 2-3 weeks before i see the replacement PSU no game time or fun time with it till then what a week my dish cables connection are all bad outside! seen them this morning, that going to cost a bet to have the tech come by and fix them up besides make them water tight. then a 2hrs later the computer tower no longer working to startup at all, i smell burnt plastic around the PSU. green light on the MOB still light up buts thats it. push the power button no then at all will happen! try to reset the PSU like the MFG told me no good ether deadend there.

How do you "reset" a PSU? Flipping the switch on the back?
I hear most PSU's die within a year. Now that they are getting more expensive people expect better warranties.

will the MFG said to reset it,
1.) unplug it, turn off the power switch on the PSU 2.) press the button on the tower to act like you turn it on. killl any power if any in the MOB 3.) turn on the power for the PSU all without the plug in the powwer cord at this time. 4.) plug-in the power cord at this time into the PSU, should ticker it to reset. only it was dead for good i was defrag HHD and left for 10min as it was defraging, when i came back to check on it the tower was off and i almost lost my cool about it, thinkiing some one turn it off as it was defragging the HD. turn out there was no more power at all going on with it, smell burnt plastic from the PSU in the back btw i plug-it into three other outlets to see if i can get it going if that one outlet was bad to start with. nope it was good

Got off the phone with a local buddy whose a tech head (like Steve), he said you be lucky if Intel do replace it, if they think it was a power surge or something hookup to the mob then your out of luck. Intel is like milking a dead cow lucky if you get anything from Intel on Warranty
have to check around see if i can find another D954Gnt MOB so everything go back into it without have to change anything or buying new item for a new type MOB
