Sound for my nest build

its a 7.1 card but does that mean I wont be able to use 2.0 and 2.1 speakers?

u really think you would have to use 8 speakers or it wouldn't work??

yes you can use 2 speakers, fyi you can set the number of speakers in control panel / sounds and audio devices / speaker settings > advanced

well thats what i thought since the slots in the back I thought said rear speaker, front, right and left.

The thought of right and left pertaining to only surround sound and not 2.0/1 crossed my mind and I just got a little unsure of myself.

Holy forks!

That is almost what I am going to get. Except, I am only getting a 10,000 RPM hdd for my OS so it will probably only be 30GB then I am gunna do a raid if I can.


I am waiting for the newer gfx card from nvidia. I already have a sweet 600W PSU anyway.
