eek AutoCAD in DF?

I was wondering if it is possible to use 3D ACAD objects in the editors for Delta Force? I belive that it opens doors for anyone who likes to make his owne map and objects!

if u know how to create a .3di file then u have little problmes.

unfortunatley no one has ever figured it out

RollEyes 3di files 3d objects

Thank you for your information,
that brings up a new adventure, What program does make .3di files and are these only for objects or can I also create maps with it?
I studied some maps and I belive that the color of the terrain is also responsible for the height of the terrain, or maybe it's just the skin?
jet, new adventures came to me in the world of builing and editing Delta force maps.
Are there programs to build maps? or do I just need a good program such as paint shop pro and convert a Jpeg into a map file?
Well, Steve I think that you just inspired my mind and set me to work.

no one apart from nava knows what they used to make 3di's :/

it is basically a .obj file with the texture attached - it is possibly to split them. but no one can recreate the 3di.


u didnt specify game but there is a 7 part tutorial for making new terrains in dflw and dftfd here >> http://stevieb.dfhq.net/sb_db/pafile...=category&id=9


any image program that can make a pcx and a tga file can be used to make new terrains.
