Editing Maps?
Hi all,
This may seem like a stupid question but how do I edit my finished maps? I've done it before but for the life of me I cannot seem to remember how to do it for BHD? Another question I have is this, I seem to have on some maps, areas where I seem to fall into some kind of hole and the screen becomes distorted, any idea why this is happening and what I'm doing wrong anyone? Thx for any help! BADDOG ENGLAND "CAVE CANUM" |

not sure how to answer ur first ? mate. i would guess u have a BMS file and u need to convert it back to MIS so u can edit it in the map editor. try df3.net and look for thread on BMS2MIS converter in BHD section if this seems to be what ur looking for. |

Hai baddog, I used to fell into deap holes after I created tunnels in BHD, I found out that the Z-value for the tunnel is zero (0), but the tunnels has a standard Z-value of minus six (-6), if i put a tunnel segment to deep (or to high) i walked out and found my self back on the map again! If that is what you mend by falling into holes, i suggest that you us the 3D view to see if the tunnels are connected (you know that they snap on a 1 mtr grid?)
The easyest way to create a tunnel is starting with an entrance and putting the tunnel segments on it, after that place an 'outrance' and you'll be ready, the first time I did it, I placed two entrances and put the segments between them, that's not a smart thing to do! but i hope that solves the problem of falling into holes! greating from prinzip holland
