Anyone know?
This probably may be a bit unknown to some but does anyone know if CoD4 is gonna have the limitations the player gets when e.g: he is in CoD1? And is the game going to be non-linear?
Regarding the limitations, let's use CoD1 for example. On the first mission when you set up that beacon or whatever, and you go to commence the raid, only your commander knocks down the door (it's AI scripted, you can't do it). Or when an AI climbs to the top of the tank and opens up the hatch. You can't do any of that. Will this be different in CoD4? Or when I was watching one of the CoD4 preview vids, and it shows you in a helo heading toward a cargo ship, and prior to infil you put on that mask - it would be great if you actually had an option to put on that mask. Well, I don't actually know if that was automated or not. Thanks guys. Chris

as far as I know, you will be able to toggle night vision on and off.

well since COD is known for its scripted sequences, i'd say the level of freedom is gonna be preaty slim. but still looks incredable
