MODDING DF2

Ive been playing DF2 ever sence it came out and ive always wanted to be able to change the way weapons and the players look.I need a COMPLETE tutorial and i need to know what tools and where to get em ill need to be able to mod DF2.

you like to change how the game works as in add-in new weapons,charters,buildens, plants in it? if so sounds great you do know every one has to have it all so. it like terranova been doing for a long time now. hopw you can find what you looking for if you do get it going one day i love to see it how you doing.

there always some guy cry cheats for get it, do what you like only try to keep it clean & fair thats all we ask.

SKINS are CHEATS.

P.S. Terranova won't aid you they want the glory and fame if they do it rather than someone else does. You have to work on this sort of thing on your own.

gee did you ever think maybe they like to add new charters to the game and may be new weapons. god man you always got to scream cheaters crap its getting old.

me i love anyone who like to know the basic on doing the skins and making weapons skins for it. i would love it, if some one add new things to it or give the old game a new life that be great.

Skinning is cheating, that isn't adding new things to the game.

how is it cheating...its not giving you that advantage over the other players, all it is doing is making something look different

tanker892005 if you really like to know how to make up new skins and make a total new mod for the game i fish around for information. poor Bustin.

i been playing all of them from 1999 and still play them all DF 1,2,Lw,TFD,BHD/TS. i even play BF 1942 with all of them MOD's to boot hell even mod for starwars for the game. he'll i even play NFS:HS with MOD's make spec cars for the game at that. but then again who cares about your's or my Track record no one. thats what i think you all really like to do hold back people from lreaning anything about it. keep your flamming up crying cheaters crap its not needed at all here.

modding is a great way to learn about the game, and again how is skinning cheating? cuz a group of people say so? Bustin sorry to say but please man give it a break, if he wants to learn and try new things then let him dont see how its going to effect S2D in any way

modifying files = cheating
skinning = modifying files
therefore skinning can be cheating.



DF2 DOES NOT have a MOD system, so changing the skins in DF2 is a bad thing to do. the skins are client side so only you can see them.

i'm not even going to discuss why making different skins can be cheating... if you can't work that out then you shouldn't even be out of primary school.

thank you stevie that is what I am trying to say skinning is cheating. Modding isn't, but at the moment no one has figured out how to mod df2.
