Need help please.

I installed BHD 2 times and everytime I try to open the game it says I dont have this file: DINPUT8.dll

can anyone try and get it to me? or link me to a way to get it??

Firstly, uninstall DFBHD, and delete the game folder. Then try reinstalling and see if it works.

Also, is your DFBHD CD corrupted? Scratched maybe? Clean it if this is the case.

chrispy it not part of the game at all.

could be part of a mod or something added in to the game maybe

i search found no then for that file name

when you unstill it did you not deleted the game folder as will before instill it back in?

Chief just told me on Messenger it's part of DirectX. Reinstall your version of DirectX and see if that helps. Thanks Chief, shoulda known.

Well, no idea what the deal is, I tried deleting the whole folder after uninstalling it, redoing it, adding the files, deleting everything again, starting over with installing ts this time.. Still gay Errors, maybe the game just isn't for this computer.. lol

could be you got other things going on with it, or some one started to deleted files they think are not needed.

Could you by any chance tell us your system specs for your game? Also, what DirectX version are you running? To find out, just go to Run on the Start Menu, and type in dxdiag. Also, for your PC info, go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information. And get down what you see first on the screen (assuming it'll show the specs).

Well, this computer is REALLY crappy, Just REALLY impatient and cant really wait a month for my laptop.. lol

Windows 2000
AMD-K6(tm) 3D Processor, MMX, 3DNow, 500MHz
128MB Ram
DirectX 7.0

=( guess I'm waiting a month lol..
I'm sure single player would have lagged too, haha.

Whoa that sounds ancient. Don't worry, I got 128mb RAM as well lol. Yes, SP lags a bit for me as well - but still well playable, hehe...

AND WHOA that processor is ancient! And I'm sure BHD needs DirectX 8.0 lol.

So you might need a new laptop/computer.
