They will not post the link over at babstats anymore because it isn't supported.

The new version of stats will not work on the web server we are installing it on, so can someone please send me a link if they have it somewhere?

Yeah, I don't like the direction babstats is going.... They should make all versions available for download, even if they don't support the older ones.

I dont understand them, its like the new version has ad ware in it or something, they are pushing it pretty hard.

and its a resource hog on hosting machines.

The main thing I don't like is that they are pushing their own server manager, which last time I saw didn't have the features that anaconda has.

They should still be updating the stand alone uploader.

and yep, it isn't as professionally written as Anaconda (one person I talked to said that the multi-tracker took 20% of the cpu cycles per-server)

they have like 3-4 stand alone versions files of it to download there. new and old versions listed there as will. 1.7 and others

by the way stay away from: cybersquads.com
they are a host only if you search for this file and come across them they only sell or host the game and other things. not a real squad or fan of the game they in it for the money.

i use google and only found one place were you can down it from unitedsquads.net site link above Vr 1.9.5

Starting with babstats server side scripts 1.9.5, you have to use their babstats multitracker software for uploading the stats. This uploader also contains a server manager.


This server manager is not compatible with anaconda.

So, if you want to use babstats w/ anaconda, you have to use the older version 1.9.0, unless you go into the php-scripts and make a change (get rid of the code in the import stats function dealing with player's ip).


Personally, the babstats multi-tracker last time I saw it isn't very good. The design, layout, and as mentioned the performance. To give them credit, They have since some out with a new version, but still it conflicts with the anaconda server manager, which I'm not ready to give up.

Thus, I'm stuck using v 1.9.0. (though my stats site says I'm using 1.9.5....)

Only major difference between 1.9.0 and 1.9.5 is that it supports uploading of the player's IP. But if your uploader can't upload the ip then no use using the newer version.

The old version allows you to use the stand alone uploader.

If you want to use the newer versions of babstats (version 1.9.5 up) you have to use their Babstats Multitracker - Which has a built in server manager, which means you can't use anaconda as it causes conflicts.

For those people who don't care about dropping the anaconda server manager and using the BMT - Go for it.


the BMT server manager, at least from what I can tell can't start BHD it self (you have to fire up bhd like normal, then attach to the game using the bmt)

Also it doesn't freeze the CK code - which means every time you restart your server, those that have added your server to pinger will have to re-add it.

Anaconda freezes that CK code - so the only time you have to re-add the server is if the server IP changes.

That is one of the issues I have with the direction babstats is going- The server manager. If only they had a way to turn that off.


Ultimitly though it is upto the server owners to choose which one they want to use.
