Another new laptop

I got rid of my old Asus F3Sv laptop... There was nothing wrong with it; it was just big and heavy... I wanted something smaller and lighter. And the ugly webcam on the Asus really started to annoy me.

I bought a Dell XPS M1330. I never pictured myself buying a Dell... It's the only one I could find with everything I wanted at a good price (performance, size, design...). It has all the power of my Asus laptop, but it’s a lot smaller, lighter and all the function keys work without any special driver hacking after a fresh install of Vista. The quality surprised me a lot for a Dell, I kind of expected cheap plastic and a lot of case flex. What I got was a nice sturdy brushed aluminum case with no flex, high quality full size keyboard with quiet keys, touch sensitive controls, awesome mouse pad and I can find all the drivers for everything rather easily. No searching around for hours... Everything just worked. I've been on this laptop for over 2 hours now and I still have 60% battery left. It's also super light, weighs just around 4lbs. I love it

I use it with a projector once in great awhile but that's about it.. AMD has crap for laptops, i'm not going down that road again until they have a good platform going...
