WTF Is Wrong With NovaLogic Master Servers?

If my customers had servers that were constantly down like the NovaLogic game serverrs dudes I would be bankrupt. Instead it appears that NovaLoic worrries about coding for clowns running obsolete 3DFX and other video cards instead of keeping their real customers happy.

They have server problems just like everyone has computer problems. There servers are probably pretty stressed and they will run into problems more often then a regular computers. And they probably have diffrent divisions, one for coding and one for networks, I'm pretty sure there network div is working only on networking and not coding . And everyone is there customer base, not just people with high end computers. Just cause you have a GF4 or whatever you got dosen't mean you are there "real" customer. People with an old 3DFX still paid for the game, and prolly expect to play it. Anyone that bought the game is a "real" customer.

Coding for a wider range of PC's (This includes thoes "clowns" you speek of) = more happy people = bigger customer base = more money = more resources = better **** for you.

If your gonna complain then put some thought into it, but don't complain here.

Novalogic sells a game, not a game server enviroment. It is a free service. So, as always, you get what you pay for

sorry can't say a thing about it all i don't know what you all talking about ref;People with an old 3DFX still paid for the game or Anyone that bought the game is a "real" customer.

i got the real thing DF1-4 Cd's no copys or freebie.

Any one loads a DF game serial's and its a copy of a DF-game DF1-5 they did not buy it they should be shot then hangup high for 20yrs then dump into the Sea as trash.

a good player is a love of the game who buy's the DF-Serials Game Cd's

1/ the demo worked fine (free) and the retail version doesn;t
( for many)
2/ Nova logic have made the game so you have to join nova world to enjoy multiplayer ( i might well be wrong on this but i don't know any other way to play internet/ multi other than LAN)
So it is their responsibility to a certain extent.

3/ Many other games ( SOAF etc ) work fine straight out of the box...so what gives. I think you'll have to excuse people posting their frustrations after paying for "enhanced multiplayer gaming" and getting nothing.

Great forum guys and i can't wait for NL to post the final fix but then again i'm quite looking forward to the next ice age as well.

why cant u guys just enjoy the game and if nova is down play on other servers there are some great custom maps out there u just have to look, i personally love teh game, i think it is one of the best games i have ever played

1/ believe me, there was A LOT MORE problems with the demo then the full version - that was expected IMO.

2/ agreed, nova NEEDS ip support for its games. try using bhd joiner in the utils.

3/ NL is only a small game developer, and SOAF has backing from EA + SOAF is basically the same as Ghost Recon which was develeoped and virtually perfected before SAOF was made ( Ghost recon actually needed a 32MB! patch to fix its bugs after release ).

i can understand why people complain but NL have email addresses on which they can be contacted. DFHQ is not a 'moan @ nova' forum. we care if ppl have problems and will try to help but if someone wants to moan about Nova dont bother posting it here please.

subject line: having trouble with DF:BHD

then give them the info like what happen when this trouble popup

sample:
1.) Date & Time:
2.) Game name: DF:BHD
3.) server name if you can.
4.) type of trouble you had: I log in and the seen the severs all of them try to go into one but got a white screen and it lockup on me.
5.)Remarks:
( can't log in at all) tell them what happen when you got the trouble even if you got punted out or hosting trouble so they can look into it and fix it.

give them a week to get back with you on it they get alot of emails to read

Or better still, do what I do, and get over it. I've played Delta Force since DF2. And Nova occasionally goes down. It's nothing new, doesn't usually last very long, and is not a big deal. Use Nova being down as an excuse to get off your ass, and out from in front of your pc.

I seriously doubt that Nova goind down is the result of a drunken janitor not paying attention while he mops. "Oops, all those damn cords just came unplugged! Hope it wasn't something important!" I figure if it's down, they're probably doing something to improve gameplay, and not trying to irritate me.

will look like DF:BHD is not the only one.

DF:TFD doing same thing going to play DF2 some like it the only one i can get into at this time.

ok now i getting this fool white page coming up in DF:TFD servers

i log-in after that point there is no server listing page at all none lmfao ok try what i know should work but if its not there then they are down for the count maybe maints or a new update (did that to night nope no new update's).

so they are down they be backup later on as for DF:LW only half of their servers are up use to be 2-page's now only one in NW listing.

god man why they do maints on a Friday for a lot of people like to play there games Fri-day/Sat-day/sun-day they are home they like to kill a lot of people in the real world they can't kill their boss will yea they can but that be a pain to do.
