NW 2.0 Beta Soon...

On the plus side - NovaWorld 2 is going into a limited beta, probably sometime on Monday. I think it's open to the first 1000 people with existing NW accounts. There will probably be an announcement in the News section tomorrow.

Good news just keeps coming:

I forgot to mention - you won't need to manually add your squad tag into your user name - if you're in a squad - the tags will automatically show up in NW and eventually in game as well.

This is a feature that should be coming online in the next few days on the NW2 side. I don't know when things will come online for in-game tags - but that's the plan...

it was explained to me that the squad names would be exclusive - so you'd be the only ones with that tag available. it would show up as a different color of text in-game that only we can set - so no one else could fake you're squad's tag. we'll be allowing special characters that you pick, and we'll be looking into support for longer / shorter number of character spaces...

You can change the squad tag, at least at this time. I got my squad setup a few minutes ago.


I really like the new look - its much better then the old novaworld, and faster.

I wonder when we will start playing on it

got my squad listed only its (Tag) ADP should be ADFP but hey its ok

only i could get member who love to join in the fun i may restart it up, but that the why asker i need lol butts tag is listed as DFP "Delta Force Players"

@ ShArP, I think they're considering allowing a few more characters like that.

Oh, and they fixed the direct link issue, and added the squad tag thing now. Now in my name is says "Chrispy (WTF)".
