can someone send me there SMALL.PFF file in TFD... i was deleting some maps from it and i think i deleted something else too, and i can play, of host... I will great appritiate this...

That file is a bit big to just email. And would be considered warez on these forums. Just take 5 minutes and reinstall your game.

no way... i cant... i spent hours setting up my firewall, so i can play and host on it... and if i install it again, ill have to do that... what if you put it in a zip file?

Maybe try copy the file from cd to hard drive.

The file is copy protected from the CD. aka known as a dummy file (it sais it's almost a gig on the CD but for real it's only 100 megs) That won't work either .

Is it possible to PFF Extract from cd to hard drive, then repack those hard drive files to a PFF on your hard drive?

how did u delete a map in the .pff?
the .pff extractor only makes copies, it doesnt actually take files out of DF games... that is unles u have a new tool or actually deteted the whole .pff file??

ur firewall setting would not be altered at all if u did a fresh install, it will still use the same ports

you can delete maps and files in the PFF 7... thats what screwed it up... but now i have a new problem, when i try to host, to test my maps, when it done loading a "ding" sound goes. and i cant see the maps

small.pff i did zip it up lookup see how big it is my file size is
ziped up: 252 MB (264,807,387 bytes).
unzip: 403 MB (423,291,551 bytes).


but then again i have exp and df2-3 terrains added in to it so my is way bigger i do beleave more the better.

did try to add in C4 get error 3 mainly terrains

if you have "Goback" you could undo that easy

beleave me when i say undo it its really works man talk about add in some thing totaly trash the game or programs i use one time my firewall got all mix-up really bad and my small.pff i added in C4 to day got error for it to it save my butt more ways then one i using "Goback deluxe Vr 3.2" hell had 2 type of worms i got it undid all of it i set it to goback in time a whole day all that worm was gone scane with norton 2003 and online to double check it clean nothen to report.best part of it you can do the whole Hard Drive or one file or look up a deleted file to bring back really easy after you get the hand of it.
