about hosting

When i host it want come in any people, i dont have a pass on the game or something like that. The only people that comes in are some friend's that now's the server name. I had read somewere about open up port's but if thats the problem i think that my friend want come in. One of my friend host whit the same server name and when he does that it's come in a lot of people so the name cant be to bad I have 1.2.1.1 version of bhd.

Most ppl goes to a server when the Ping is low, Like if your ping is very high or unknowen then they would think woooww Laggie so...:s?

i seriously doubt it's the firewall if some friends make it into the game...
but i son't have any new ideas besides the mentioned ping issue

maby it's the ping, but if it is the ping it's to bad because i have a 10 mb+ line

high bandwith doesn't necessarily mean good latency, but usually these two go hand in hand

maybe you were just unlucky, how often/how long have you tried?

maybe you hosted at a bad time, when just not many people were playing?
etc..

I had been try to get in people into my server for 5-6 veek's now, i run the sever betvin 4pm to 10pm (europe time).sometime ust as a server sometime serve and play. I usely play d2 lod but i has stop playing that, i'm waiting for the patch and in d2 i has a ping betvin 30-70

hi guys new here at your forum
you know the ping thing is ,to me, a relevant thing also i can host cfs2 and get up to 30ppl but in mohaa well after 4-6 it falls apart.
i have come to leran this about graphic laden first person shooters that each player needs a certian amount of bandwidth to play or it will fall apart i have dsl and even with that mohaa will "fall apart" after 4-6 players.......this also depending on how many hops you take to get to your hub.
i have noticed i cannot join any BHD games with under a 125 ping though .......but play is fine at times does anyone here connect with a ping of say 38-58 our server at mohaa that is waht i run there......if you do what server is it plllllllzzzzzzzzzzzz
