all ya military guys should know what this is, for all those who dont this is a Chemical weapons test kit, used to see if there is contamination from Chemical weapons present in the air or in a liquid.
found it while looking thru a cart of misc items.

thee is 6 packets like the 1 shown here and a plastic carrying case and instruction card pack.

this preticular pack will detect, blister-(H)(CX)(HD)(L)
Nerve-(G)(V)
Blood-(AC)(CK)
Mustard,Phosgene Oxmine,Lewisite,Hydrogen Cyanide,Cyanogen Chloride

we also got a slide rule in today that did calculations for nukeulear yeald.

we get all kinds of stuff in where i work.

we use them a long time ago.

don't think it any good now days, should have been replace.

paper is no good due to its open to the air too long.

can't say if the kit is out dated or not.

one need a NBC Suit anyways, if you find any Chemical without the suit your out of luck any how. besides the Chemical mask.

Nah, got way to many of those things in my locker at the barracks... I tend to forget to give them back after a exercise..

yup kit is outa date it says to discarde after 95.

i keep looking for a sherman tank to show up in 1 of those carts, weve had ammo and some live ordenance to show up 1 day , nice feeling when ya run across a bag and open it and it has a nade in it, should have kep it, lol.

dont know if it was demilled, it still had the plug in the bottome of it, and i be damed if i was gona pull pin and see, lol.
