Minimize Problem

now i only have one problem left and that is when i minimize BHD to get to my remote client and stuff it happens many times that my game is a total black screen when i open it again and no matter what i do there is now way of of it not through alt+tab or windows button or anything it normally ends up this way "reboot" maybe one of you guys can help there.

Sounds like your desktop settings are conflicting with your BHD settings.

On your desktop make sure your bit depth color is set differently then your bhd (found by right clicking desktop and choosing properties. Go to settings tab).

If that doesn't work (or you want to use the same bit depth) change either your BHD or your desktop screen resolution so that they are different.

And a reboot shouldn't be necessary - press alt+f4 and it should close the game out

ether way i like it 32bit color so i would set it ether way

then use the Windows key (flag) and press D-key together you be at desktop really then real fast

desktop shortcut> windows flag key with D-key press together

I like my desktop at the highest resolution, same for my game. I see no difference between a 16bit color and 32bit color when looking at my desktop.

So I set my desktop to 16 bit and my game to 32bit.


The added advantage to haveing the game and desktop set to the same screen resolution, if BHD should crash its less likely to leave your screen at a different resolution.

I have had my resolutions set like yours once - and when the game would crash my desktop would still be set to the 800 x 600 and I would have to manually reset it.
