I had that let me find it ok, the asker for you. me and Baddog had this.

when you try to instill the game you get that error, the system goof up is why you getting it mainly SP2 i think anyway there a fix for it.

i made it using what Microsoft told me to do, basic what i remember is it replace two files that gone bad.

General information:
place these two files into your Windows system32 folder "C:\WINDOWS\system32" then go to Start>run> type in: cmd "after it starts up" type in "exit" then restart your system the error should be no more. now instill your program/game.

remark: i think Windows Xp SP2 works by using 16bit but when it finish it don't reset these two files back to normal only a gut feeling. no then to back it up. these two file stop the error so i know something did not work right and gone bad this do fix it.

to bad Mircosoft did not make it eassyer to instill this my way eassyer fix.

save this Zip-file in a safe place you may need it again some day.

i was ask to join the tech-team here a year all go, sorry i turn it down but i love to butt in give a helping hand when i can.

we all know the saying, i the smarts guy here, yea the truth is a lot of people know thing in other areas so there are no smart guys at all.

a doctor know how to get into a person body to fix/remove thing to get them better in health, but he don't know a thing about ship build at all. then there are people who had trouble with the same item some other person is having and pass a fix or tip to them faster for them to get back into working order 100%.
