Can't play shock wave games anymore.

I recently validated my windows 10 and also got a few updates after doing the same, because of which there is more a Window.old folder. However, since then, the old shock waves game, that I was able to play on internet explorer using the shock wave player plugin isn't working. It simply asks: What would you like to do with the.swf files, and giving the option of saving and opening it. It restarts on opening it, and saving it just save another copy of the same.

win10 no longer supports anything shockwave or flash. some of the utilities here at NHQ no longer work as they were written in flash.
