Sad Problem: Sound Lag

My sound lags by about 2 seconds. It really bothers me. When I kill someone, they drop, I hear my rifle, then their scream! I wanna hear their pain real-time!

DSL Connect
1.6GH P4
Radeon 7000
win 98

Any help???

Thanks in advance!

Twell

I'm using on-motherboard audio. I'm gonna try putting my old Turtle-beach card in and see.

happens ONLY on BHD

Cheers

Sounds like a sound card problem. BHD specs are pretty high.

99% of onboard sound chips are crap for gaming. u have to get a real sound card for gaming.

onboard sound chips as well as some sound cards are not always full duplex either so programs like roger wilco u may be out of luck. I did have a SonicFury also and yes my on board sound did work better than that too.
Glad u are hearing things better twell.
