DFLW Mission Editor problem

When trying to run the mission editor for DFLW it doesn't work. I have Windows XP and I know that it doesn't work on win. XP, but when i downloaded "DF:LW: MED For Win2000" it still won't work. Is there a certain place i need to save the file to? Do i need to unzip it to a certain file?? please help me out with this problem

it just goes in your dflw game folder.
do u get an error msg?

yeah, i've put it in that folder but an error message still came up

Go get it here .. there's a LOT of goodies for DFLW, and if you have other versions of DF, there's other sections too..
