sysdump.txt errors on each load!!!
I have had DFBHD since it first came out. I have finished it a few times, no running issues at all. Then all of a suddan it started with the 'sysdump.txt' while loading single player games. I updated to the current version and this didnt fix it. I bought DFBHD-TS thinking that this would fix it - and i still get the sysdump.txt every time i try to load any single player game.
I have updated to the newest version (1.5.0.5), I am running directX 9.0C, XP Pro with service pack 2. I have the newest Nvidia Drivers. My computer is a p4 2.1GHz, 1gig DDR Ram, 256Mb GeForce FX 5700LE graphics card. To fix it I have tried deleting the game, running regmechanic to clear any keys, then installing to a different partition. I have disabled virus scanners and firewall (McAfee Internet security 2005), I have tried turning all the video settings to the lowest possible, I have tried the windows XP emulating tool to run it in a windows 2000, NT, 98/ME enviro. This is frustrating! anyone have any ideas of what else i could try? |

go inside the game folder
location: C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Delta Force Black Hawk Down open up "REVUPDAT.EXE" if that don't do it then try "LOCALUPD.exe" me i would unstill it totally save any player files ???.sav you may have and maps. after delete the game folder totally then restart system, after re-instill the game DF:BHD then instill Team Sabre let it update the game when finish download the new update for DF:BHD-Team Sabre manuly from here This is the official BHD:TS Update v1.5.0.5. DL: http://www.novahq.net/?show=utilitie...et_file&id=212 some times getting a update through the intenet may not work 100% and all the files may not get pack into the pff files like they should. redo the whole game over should fix it. most of the time a map or grafix card would give you a sysdump.txt some times a update did not work out good ether will do it. 1.) uninstill the game 2.) save any player sav files and maps 3.) delete the game folder 4.) restart the computer 5.) reinstill the game DF:BHD 6.) instill Team Sabre let the cd update DFB:BHD (it adapt the game to use Team Sabre items) 7.) Manuly download the update for Team Sabre after downloading it instill the new update for the game. thats it put back any sav files and map you may have save. play it. always use DF:BHD Cd to play the game with.

you can e-mail to support@novalogic.com and attach the sysdump.txt to the e-mail. or go to www.novaworld.com and ask the tech there for more details into it.
mostly see if the grafix card been updated have you update the drivers for it if so it could be it not doing so good.

No reply from Nova Logic Help. This is bull****. I reformatted the other day - tried to reinstall and it is still doing it! I think i will just take the game back to the store or sell the game on ebay. I would have thought Novalogic would be keen to help out its customers.
