DFLW & DFTFD error

Delta Force Land Warrior requires that you have enough space available in your
Windows swap file, in order to load all the necessary data for each mission.

To play with all detail settings on HIGH, you will need a minimum of 140Mb of
available hard drive space, or you will get an 'Out of Memory' error when loading
some missions, and the game will return to the menu system.

If less than 140Mb of hard drive space is available, you have the following
options:

1) Play the game on 'medium' or 'low' detail settings - this will require less
Virtual Memory.
2) Make more space available on your hard drive - e.g. run 'Disk Cleanup' from
the Start Menu

Please note that running other applications at the same time as running Delta
Force Land Warrior will cause additional system resources to be withheld, and
may cause you to run out of available hard disk space. It is advised that you shut
down other applications before running Delta Force Land Warrior in order to
enjoy the full experience of our product. MS-DOS prompt windows also seem to
require a large amount of system resources, and should not be left open when
playing either.

you know i like to know how i am running out of space when i have 150GB still free on my system to get this type of error.

has anyone ever fix this from showing up

nope only get that error for them two games only.

think i better off restart the system then start the game

no error messenge with: DF 1/2/BHD/JOTR/DFX
only them two goofy games

did u try to uninstall it and delete all folders then reinstall it??

LMFAOO its a driver issue guys. newer video card drivers cause this problem because DFLW thinks the video ram is the windows swap file for newer drivers. ignore it because it is not disabling the game. remember the recomended video card for DFLW was a NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64/Model 64 Pro. The pro had 32 MB memory.

You cannot get rid of the error messages unless you roll back the driver for your video card and maybe the card itself. Myself i take the message as "You are above and beyond the recomended system specs." and click OK

Mine is an Nvidia 6200LE with 256 MB and have had that error since i updated the driver. i also sometimes get a green flash from the crosshair when i fire in dark maps. another driver issue but im not going to rollback the driver because the one im using works better for DFX

yea i notice that DFLW intro movie flicker and bet bright off hand like lighting in a way. same for DFTFD as will
