TROPICAL STORM FAY

i was in deep thought how this storm will come in my area, as it is light shower is about all i seen

no thunder or lighting
no high winds

crap i seen more action in a thunder storm then this? its slow light breez with really really lite rainfall going on, but thats it lol

i seen on the news there is flooding going on in some area's but its like it going around my area, i was looking forward to heavy rain and some lighten action

hope there is a light show lighting and some good heavy rain been dry for a long time now.

nope i don't liver near any swamp area, but it been on the news some people in housing area and highways have gators running loose in the area.


basic we in lake city are in the eye (center) of the storm fay


you can still see there is really two big hot spots out ocean area heading inland to the west still

23:55hr we lost power last night, power was restore 11:45hr
there was no lighting at all and winds like a thunder storm.
a local trucker ran into a power pole on wet roadway.

we had about 6" rain in my area when all this start and still going on now.

i love it when power go off, i have more fun in the dark than in the light.

and it give me a chance to try out my creations for power production.

god i had three house wife call me to stay over my place till they get their home fix with their kids as will, gee why me?

will the long wait been paid off, had a super great and some what scary light show.

lighting came down all over my area and hit many tree's near my home, wish my camio was working battiers gone dead again. got to spend another 20 to order a new set

anyways the lighting storm lasted 2.5hrs long it could wake the dead was soo loud

i had the same prob with my cameras, i made an adapter that i could use any set of batteries i can find.
i did the same thing to my NVG, got rid of the super expencive 3v lithium and can use two 1.5Vdc AA batteries, actually last longer too and a lot cheaper, if i need power i just raid the tv remote.
