Confused Need help with argus related
Ok, basically i have had trouble with argus, and told to reinstall bhd. A message comes up, with some file saying that it is not suitbal for Ms-Dos, and i have never heard or seen this file before.
Can anyone help me here?

When does the ms-dos message come up? Normally that only happens when a windows program is started in dos

it can't be use with BHS/TS at all novalogic.inc put a block on any anticheat software patches.

Ok m8, that explains it, i have TeamSabre, so basically, all i need to know is how to block out the anti-cheat.

the squad =OC= uses argus (organized crime), we couldn't have our match against them on their server because argus would punt us.

And they have bhd:ts.

I'll be putting argus on my bhd:ts server as soon as they come out with a patch to let me customize the ports needed by argus (port 80 needs to be open which conflics with my webserver).

Currently I run argus on my game and it seems to work (got an update yesterday), though I haven't tried any cheats to see if it will block them.

Argus hasnt been proven to be an effective program. Servers say " u need this to play" u dont, Belfast killers (i think) had it running for a while and i had argus but after forgetting to turn it off before joining Nova server (instant ban.. :'() so i took it off, and saw the host message ... welcome to.... u must have argus to play, thought ok fine ill see what happens, i never got punted or questioned the whole time

open up the folder where bhd is installed (by default it is: c:\Program Files\Novalogic\Delta Force Black Hawk Down)

First make sure that nlAPIClient.dll exists

locate the file named APIClient.dll and delete it.

Now rename nlAPIClient.dll to APIClient.dll.

Argus is now gone.

Also, updating the game may remove it.
