No such thing as an inaccurate sniper rifle. Just the guy shooting it. BTW, I don't use the 300 either.

i personally use the barret and but I do like to use the m21 for close range but i cant hit anything with it lol. I dont think there is any "inaccurate" sniper rifles in bhd. Maybe speed of bullet is different but thats about it.

I've always been using Barrett, but after the FV came, I changed to .300 Tactical.

It's superb for sniping, short or longdistance, it doesn't matter...

The only disadvantages, is the low ammo-capacity and load-speed. But a good sniper can compensate for that, and reload while searching for new targets.

Just my two cents.....

The .50 is best for all around sniping but it tends to lob the round while the 300 has 18X mag for LONG shots and shoots flatter .

every weapon has its pros and cons....

M21 is good for closer ranges (up to 300yds i.m.o.) larger capacity mag and fast reload .. but only x8 scope

M24 is better for long range ... x14 scope and 6 round mag offset the..

.300 with its x18 scope and 4 round mag..(if you want the huge scope your penalty is smaller mag)

.50cal is an allrounder but has smaller total rounds .. 90 i think compared to 180 or 200 for other rifles .. better stopping power though

I have over simplified it but i think that each rifle is good in its own right ... although i only use .50cal if im gonna stay close to armory .. because im bound to run out of ammo before 30 mins are up .. lol

Last night I decided to play around with the M24 on the Salems lots map. Usually I choose the .300 and go anti-sniping. well as the game unfolded I ended up laying near a bush by the C spawn with the M24 and it was one of those nights that nothing can go wrong. some of my shots I would have bet money was going to miss but then I saw my name pop up. I was hitting guys on a dead run bouncing up and down behind the hills. I love that gun. I'll probably never be able to do anything like that again so in all I have to agree with what Karma said. If you are in a town/city setting the M21 is good. Or the .50 is you want a stronger scope. A beginner or medium distance where ther might be a lot of running I'd go with the .50 and everything else I like the M24 or .300 if I really want to see the look on their face at 800 yards.

something I didn't see brought up, is the noise these weapons make.

the .50 cal is pretty easy to locate, due to its LOUD report. so, you need to be far away unless you want to get a bullet in your head from a .300 or a knife in your back.

the .300 is pretty quiet if you get far enough away (quieter than the .50). with a full server, you probably won't even be heard.

the m24 is my overall favorite, and is pretty quiet. you can be half as close as the .300 or .50 and have the same noise.

the m21 has the most distinctive sound. probably because it's used the most in city maps, and you hear it more. I think it's louder than the m24 at a distance, though. I haven't done any tests between these two rifles.

In an open map with lots of room to manuever, where i can get more than 700 yards out of the main combat zone I use the MCRT .300 Tactical due to it's scope and it's relatively less noticable report. If it's a closed map where I can only get to about 400 yards out if that, I use the m21 due to it's 20 rnd capacity and it's quick reload time. My favorite rifle of the two is the .300 tactical. It is by far the best sniper rifle for intermediate and long range engagements

clearly, we all have our favorites...

I was playing with some of my squad on the SSR server a week ago... there was a set of maps with great sniper spots, and I used the m24 from 300-800m. I think my stats on one map were 43 kills and 3 deaths. this was on a 30player server

You people that dislike the .300 tactical's round capacity.... don't shoot everytime you see a flash of movement. Fire one shot at your target, slide downt he backside of your cover get out of sight and reload. A true sniper never fires twice from the same hide. One shot, One kill. Shoot and scoot. Fire onceget ya a kill but after that get the hell off that hill.

hey, I like the .300... just usually farther away than 500m. I usually work between 200-600.

I generally play TKOTH, so I have a little more leeway of getting more kills from one spot, since most people are gunners or cqb.

Sorry to say I don't play BHD, but the .300 Tactical sounds really cool so I chose that one

I voted for the M24 and I'll stand by that as the main stay sniper rifle I use (when I do snip, mostly medic)I like to hang out around 200 to 250 meters, and it just seems to be a little more forgiving , but I would agree the .300 is an outstanding long range rifle , as for the load capacity ,I just have one saying that runs through my head before I squeeze the trigger ,(which many ppl have stated before) "make it count"

HAHA you know this is like an endless cycle. I seem to go through spurts...lately I have been playing TKOTH and using the M21 for everything (unless I play MED). Even on the open field during the bush wacked maps. I'm sure in a month I'll be back to using the .50 or the M24...
