How many people still play?

Just wondering, before I buy this game again, how many people still play? I havent played since 2005, and dont want to spend $15 on a game that only a few people play, so if someone who is still able to get on the multiplayer servers and let me know that would be fantastic.

there's nowhere near as many people playing it now as there used to be. Remember those 150 player servers? well, they're still there, they just never go above 30 players.
