This beautifully made little representation of an antique tripod table bears at its centre an original brass RAF uniform badge.
The table, which is hand made from copper, has three legs and a cartwheel stretcher.

It measures 3” in diameter and stands 2½” high.

This item bears all the marks of a craftsman’s hand. The legs are beautifully shaped and fashioned and each is finished with a shaped pad of copper on its base. The cartwheel stretcher is also beautifully hand crafted.

This is an absolutely fabulous item of trench art and rare insofar as it was RAF made rather than the much commoner Army pieces.

The item is so well and so accurately made that I guess it that it was fashioned by an enlisted cabinet maker!!
