i need help

ok just wondering if anyone can help me when i playing the game i get signal out of range then my comp restarts
i am running windows xp
my comp is a xp 2000+

i aint got a clue really, i dunno what u mean by signal out of range??? u connectied via mobile?? lol sorry Fix i dont understand.

ok on my screen it goes blue and says signal out of range
then my comp resets itself

Q: Monitor displays “Input Signal Out of Range” but no display.

A: Please verify the resolution and refresh rate setting on your system. Below is a factory recommended resolution & refresh rate setting. The monitor will not display if resolution and refresh rate setting are higher than its Maximum recommended resolution and refresh rate. For All 15” TFT-LCD monitor: Set the resolution to 1024 x 768 @ 60Hz, 70Hz or 75Hz. For All 17” TFT-LCD monitor: Set the resolution to 1280 x 1024 @ 60Hz, 70Hz, or 75Hz. For All 18.1” TFT-LCD monitor: Set the resolution to 1280 x 1024 @ 60Hz, 70Hz, or 75hz.

SYMPTOMS
When you try to start your computer in Normal mode, and you are using a new monitor, the screen display may appear garbled, or you may receive the following error message:



Signal out of range



CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the signal from the video adapter exceeds the scan range of the new monitor. The video adapter setting for updating the screen (the refresh rate) is incompatible with the monitor.



RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, either change the refresh rate, or change the video adapter settings.

To change the refresh rate:


Restart the computer, and while it is restarting, press F8 until the Startup menu appears. Press 3, and then press ENTER to start the computer in Safe mode.


Right-click the desktop, click Properties , and then click Settings .


Click Advanced , click Adapter , and then click Adapter Default from the Refresh Rate list.


Click OK , click OK again, and then click Yes to restart the computer in Normal mode.


You can set the colors and screen area to your preferences under Display Properties .


To change the video adapter settings:

Restart the computer, and while it is restarting, press F8 until the Startup menu appears. Press 3, and then press ENTER to start the computer in Safe mode.


Right-click the desktop, click Properties , and then click Settings .


Click Advanced , click Adapter , and then click Change .


Click Next , and then click Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want .


Click Next , click Show all hardware , and then click Standard display types under Manufacturers .


Click Standard Display Adapter (VGA) , and then click Next .


Click Yes , click Next , click Finish , and then click Yes to restart the computer.


After the computer starts, right-click the desktop, click Properties , and then click Settings .


Click 256 colors , click Apply , and then restart the computer.


After the computer starts, click Start , point to Settings , click Control Panel , and then double-click System .


Click Device Manager , click View devices by type , and then click Display adapters .


Click Standard Display Adapter (VGA) , click Remove , and then click OK .


Install all updated monitor drivers.

Reduce Display Settings
To reduce your display settings, follow these steps:
Click Start , point to Settings , and then click Control Panel .


Double-click Display .


Click the Settings tab, and then write down the settings for Colors and Screen area .


In the Colors or Color Palette box, click High Color (16 bit) .


Move the Screen area or Desktop area slider to 800 by 600 pixels , and then click OK .


If you are prompted to restart the computer, click Yes .


Test the game again. If the issue is not resolved, continue with the next section.
Change the Refresh Rate for Your Video Adapter
Click Start , point to Settings , and then click Control Panel .


Double-click Display .


On the Settings tab, click Advanced .


On the Adapter tab, click Adapter default under Refresh rate , and then click Ok .

NOTE : If there is not an Adapter tab, you cannot change the refresh rate for your video adapter.


If you are prompted to test the setting, click OK .
