Do you have a CD writer? i have found that sometimes my CD-Rom dosnt always read the CD correctly,so i put it in my writer and the game runs, because the faster CD-Roms ,say 52x or faster seem to miss data sometimes,i have noticed this while installing Windows,it will give me errors ,so i switch to writer drive, and it reads slower and seems to install with no errors, just a thought!

Maybe its just a bug in the last 2 systems i've built ..but if i get CD errors,or it wont auto-run, .i just switch to the writer and it seems to not give any errors.........beats me,........not saying it will work, but it does for me!

As strange as what Jim said seems...it appears to have worked on my rig as well. I have a nice new CD, and it was spinning really fast when I was trying to play it before.

My roomate let me use his super old one and now the game runs.

Wierd. Muchos wierd.

I'm just glad I can play the game!

No idea McGrath.

Sigh...again...it won't run. I can't figure this out, it makes no sense. I called NovaLogic again, and they just told me the same thing, stating that something I have running in the background is stalling the boot process of the game.

Again, they had me close out everything, which I did, and run the game. Boom, it worked. I come back to play it 3 hours later, and now it won't start again.

Between the time I played the game when NovaLogic helped me fix it, I didn't open another application, no web broswer, nothing. All I did was play the SinglePlayer for about an hour, shut it down, get some food, and come back to my puter.

Whatever...this is really annoying.
