played this game like crazy last night, its a lot of fun
well should be at least for 3 days, but after that i dunno.

anyways i've not played much of it but how can i change the colour of the freekin car?!

i dunno if ive just missed something or there is a special shop that's not unlocked yet.

i have all level one upgrades and some level 2 ones, but still have stock colours >_<


oh yeah also i wanted to know how to buy new cars. i have 3 cars - i'm not really sure how, becasue every time i actually want to add a new car, it asks me to trade one i already have. hmm

Steve: NFS: Underground 2 (NFS:8) you have to import the skin in into each type of car at this time i don't think there any new skin cover for these cars way too new. as for changing the color that be unlock as you beat each level you race in.

NFS: U (NFS:7) you can i have done it NFS: Underground 1 (NFS:7).

they are a great site like novahq.net is best part members can upload files and item there on their own like to all do here on maps but they upload every thing they like to as in files: images, tracks (maps to race on), tools, and more. for all the games of NFS: Serials without any bull some have to go thou to get it posted on their site.

you have to look around for Vinyl's to use and get the car Vinyls you going to use must be the same car it was made for thats the only draw back. each car has a Vinyls for it made by the size of it.

these are the tools you be needing: NFS: Underground (NFS:7U)
1.) Description: This program will let you open up Textures.bin, Vinyls.bin, and any other textures and export the texture data as Direct Draw Surface (DDS) files. It also allows you to import DDS files back into the BIN file.
You can only replace an exisiting texture, you CANNOT add a texture!
When playing online, the other players will see the original texture, not your edited texture. To download it:
"Click-here"

here a sample what you have to do sample the RXZ7 you like to add a (skin) Vinyls to it what you end up doing is replacing a item in the game like Flame 3 or strips or something. only on the end user will see it but it cool to see.

if the other player use Flame 3 Vinyls you will see the Vinyls you replace into it.

2.) Description: if you like to Import music sound tracks into it: "Click-here"
This tool will let you import your own music into NFS:Underground!

3.) Description: Export music sound track from the game: "Click-here"
Description: well...this's one of da only tool for NFS7U, which lets u Extract the Audio Songs of the game in .WAV format, & then u can listen it in WINAMP & later get convert in .MP3 format.
***now listen songs in WINAMP..ENJOY!!!!

i wasnt looking for skins, just colour change. i managed to find it just after i posted, a new garage was unlocked. its a different system to nfsu1, u have to get your stuff done at different shops, bodywork, new cars, tune up etc.

its a pain in the ass really, i would much prefer to have one garage that does everything. and i have to go driving around the city to each shop each time i wanna change something :grr: some will prefer it this way but it just seems like a waste of time IMO :/

u have to get a sponsorship and complete it to get a complementary car, and if u want to buy a car first u need enough money

awww yea.. ive been waitin for this game for awhile.. and it seems im always a game behind everyone.. but im gettin my new ps2 and that game.. and the trailers ive seen, stories ive heard.. i dunno how or who is gonna pull me away from this game!

i do think it dose have it one main reason Pc Vs PS2 play together online. it has to have it or you get a big time error.

i been to the Home page of NFS:U by EA games they talk about how they are working out. mostly seen a bet of flame war from PS2 players who don't have all the same things as Pc players have. but they do play together in their servers.

only thing is have they been disable to be use in ether one can't say. both have to have the same tracks to race on and same setup for the Street Race cars as in tune up and Skins and soo upgrades and make of cars
