I've heard that theres a lot of people complaining that they cant use this awesome feature because they cant afford 3ds max. Not to worry though...there lots of software out there...one is Blender, totally free, but i'm not sure if it exports to 3ds or not, another one is Milkshape 3d, demo's free, and its only like $25 to buy the full version, and it will export to .3ds...good luck and happy modelling
