To get in to the Aussie mining game, you will have to spend some time at collage getting to know the gear.

Yep there's three buttons in the cab for hydraulic "quickfit", one is for the bucket on the rototilt unit and the other two is to detach the rototilt unit from the "normal" bucket mount. There's something new now called "OilQuick" which enables you to detach the rototilt without disconnecting any hoeses and electrical connections, aswell as attach driven tools to the rototilt wihout connecting any hoses

We don't have that on the school machines, so we have to disconnect the hoses whenever we want to disconnect the rototilt unit, which is only done if you're going to handle allot of frozen ground (if the conditions are really bad) or rocky and hard terrain, it's on in all other cases

I'm not too fond of mining, but I will be allowed to operate those machines aswell just like this 15 ton digger I changed bucket on. But I prefere the city work more as it's less stressy and more "fine tuned" making a perfectly level surface or digging for pipes and so on. I want a rototilt on Well uncovering new sites removing rocks and vegitation is alot of fun too

Mining is still something I consider if i don't find any "city" type work, aslong as I get to operate an excavator, wheelloader or "digloader"

The dream is to operate a huddig on the railway! That would of been awsome!

Was cleaning the "dump" today where we dump all rocks and so on that we dig up and "blow up"

Bad angle but you can still see the bucket :o

Shame you want the easy work so soon and yet to graduate too, much common life skills you have yet to develop, you must have very few responsibilties or have been poorly educated, many in such an institition would have a need to recap any financial loss incured whilst at such a place.

to do list:

1: define the reason other than massage ego, perhaps vocational?

2: purpose post education? build own property, house? etc

good luck
