Editing someone else's maps?

There is one way to stop it, If you have a fast enough connection and run a server of your own, Then have the maps as your server only.

This I used to do on DF2 that way Players that like your type of maps come to your server and you get a regular crowd in.

I started submiting maps From dflw onward the only map that I know of that has been altered of mine was my first release of my Urban Warfare map, It was originaly a night map someone changed it to day and done a crap job of it, As they left lit street lamps ect in the map, So I made I think 5 versions of the map in the end, The final Version I aint releasing.

Ill be keeping it My Server Only.

I do look on DFPinger if I see one of my maps being played I will Go into it just to have a look.

There seems a lot of Sig Rippers Get Named & Shamed Maybe the same could be done for Map Rippers...
