Video Editing

Yo guys, I am in my second year of Video eiditing classes. I am using adobe premier, but the thing that sucks about it is that it has a crappy text editor...does anyone know of some programs that a good text editors for video, and that have 3d effects? Just looking around, for now I use Photoshop but would like something better.

I'd use liveType bye Mac but it ONLY works on Mac and I don't have one :O

i expect the controls would be familiar for you also.

Yes that is one I am considering, don't have the cash for it right now....I need to see a demo before I buy it, it was in a Video mag I saw, better go read it..

Bah acid, Premeir isn't much good for basic text effects, I just want a simple text editing program with 3d animation, any other progs?

You are gonna have to use a program that works with premire.

Otherwise, I'd use Avid Express.

But since you dont have any money, you really dont have any options.

I know there are some cheaper ones, avid is way to expensive for me. Just not sure, I'll have to look around more, too bad Final Cut isn't for PC!
