um, my second monitor has a totally black screen, and i use my laptop speakers, i just found that my laptop is 7 yrs. if that helps anyone

Well like others have said, your screen is probably on the way out, so replacing that is probably a good idea. Or the laptop, take your pick.

don't know if one can replace the screen with inside a laptop or one has to take it to a computer tech-repairshop

well, im 12 so i dont know how to fix a lot of things, im probably just gonna get a new computer
